Obituary
One May 7, 2022, Arline Ketchum Sexton got her wings and went to walk with Poppy and the angels in heaven.
She was just shy of her 84th birthday. Arline was born on May 22, 1938 in Johnson City, New York but moved to Florida when she was 7 years old. Arline embraced the sunny Florida lifestyle. She loved crafting, snorkeling, eating, and traveling the countryside in an RV with her husband and grandchildren.
It would be wrong to say that Arline lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Arline stayed strong. It is through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.
Arline is predeceased by her husband of 50 years in marriage, David Sexton and her daughter Marion Jo Sexton. She is survived by her two children, David Sexton and Elayne Whitehead, her 5 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. She has 2 sisters Virginia Kemp and Charlotte Stull.
Arline will be cremated and returned to her family for her final resting place. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Hope Hospice Cape Coral, FL.
Unseen, unheard, but always near; still loved, still missed and very dear.”
