Arthur Charles Brayman “Chuck” died on March 3, 2019 at Cornerstone Hospice House in Tavares, Florida he was 90. He was born on July 27, 1928 to Arthur Richard Brayman and Doris Marie LaFountain in River Rouge Michigan. He was German and French.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife of 47 years Lorine May “Gillihan” Brayman, step-sons Bryan Kaczanowski and Bruce Kaczanowski and step-daughter Lorrie (Kaczanowski) Windsor. He is survived by his first wife Ruth Sandy O’Grady who lived with and loved him for his final two years, daughter Dena (Ken) Christunas, son Rick (Brenda) Brayman, step-son Paul (Marilyn) Kaczanowski, three brothers Leo Brayman, Kirk (Shirley) Brayman, Bob (Judy) Brayman. Many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Dad was a Florida state pro shuffle board player, bowler, golfer, pool player, baseball player, horse shoes. Whatever sport he tried he excelled at. His wives were sometimes sports widows but they both loved him dearly.

Dad loved to fish and hunt. When he married Lorine in 1969 they sold everything in Southgate and purchased a resort on Bear Lake in northern Michigan. They enjoyed the lake and running the resort until they sold it to their son Bryan and his wife Melony. They then moved to Naples Florida and loved the warm year round weather until they purchased their home in Hawthorne in 2000. They loved Hawthorne where dad played with the shuffleboard team until this past January.

Memorial Services will be held at the Hawthorne Memorial Gardens Leesburg Florida on Tuesday, March 19 and in Michigan on his birthday in July.
