Obituary

Arthur H Gordon

Age: 89

    Arthur passed away at peace on January 21st, with his family at his bedside. He was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. Arthur Gordon son of Harry and Minnie Gordon was born on March 28th, 1930 in Manhattan, New York. Along with his siblings Norman (Poppy) Gordon, Harry Gordon Jr., Lena Gordon, Robert Gordon,

and William Gordon.

      Arthur’s life was long lived with amazing achievement such as; joining the army and serving for 3 years, becoming a boxer known as “The Kid Flash Gordon”. Becoming a proud army and marine vet, serving two tours in the Korean war and surviving was the achievement he held with him from beginning to end.

      Arthur Gordon and his beloved wife, Kathryn T. Gordon raised 5 children; Arthur Gordon jr., Debra Mavridis, Robert Gordon, Barbara Ahmed, and Jeanette Rodriguez. Along with having 14 Grandchildren,  25 great grandchildren and 2 great great granchildren, which Arthur was the proudest of. Arthur was a loving man whose heart was bigger than most. 

   Arthur Gordon’s memorial ceremony will be Blessed Trinity Catholic Church on February 8th at 1:00 pm.

    Grandpa, you were such an amazing person and i will miss you terribly. Please look out for us. Im truly gonna miss my partner in arguing and getting lost on our drives. You were the only person that just didnt care if we got lost which we did a lot. I love you and give grandma a big hug and kiss for me.
