Obituary
Ashlee Neycole Blackman was full of life and vibrant energy. Lovingly known as Ladybug, her infectious smile could light up any room. To know her was to love her and to be in her presence was like being on a crazy rollercoaster ride that you screamed and laughed through, but yearned to ride again. Ashlee craved adventure and loved a good rollercoaster…
Born June 15, 1987 to Mark Lilly and Lee Rochelle Grant, who precedes her in death, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Ashlee was the first child and grandchild of her family. She was educated for two years at The Philadelphia High School for Girls and graduated in 2005 with a Business Concentrations from Germantown High School (Philadelphia). Seeking adventure and new surroundings, Ashlee moved from Philadelphia to Orlando, Florida in 2012.
With a caring spirit and a deep love for helping people when she could, Ashlee found work in Retail Customer Service, as a Home Health Aide, and pursued education as a Dental Assistant. At the time of her sudden death in Titusville, FL, she was enrolled as student at the Academy of Cosmetology (Merritt Island, FL).
Ashlee will be terribly missed, however, we know that she is at peace. In her short life of almost 33 and one half years, we are certain that she would say her greatest accomplishments were her two beautiful daughters – Avina Lavender White and Kennedy Lee White.
Ashlee is survived by her daughters: Avina and Kennedy, father: Mark, siblings: Marlon Matthes, Aiyanna Lilly, Raena Lilly, grandmother: Shirley Alford, niece: London Lilly, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and a host of other extended family and friends.
