Obituary
Audrey Ann Crawford was born on December 20, 1949 to Bernice Crawford and Arthur Crawford, in Saginaw, Michigan. Audrey had a long living life full of both turmoil and victory. Audrey graduated from Saginaw High School, she would later attend Mott Community College and then Lansing Community College where she was studying Criminal Justice.
Audrey did not graduate from college but it never stopped her fascination with Law Enforcement. Audrey was married to her first husband John Crawford (deceased) and from their union she had her eldest child Arnetta Barry, then Tamara Hale and later John Crawford, Jr. Audrey later married Bryant C. Smith and from their former union she gave birth to her youngest daughter, Yvettia Smith.
Throughout her life she would travel around the United States residing in numerous states. Audrey gave her life to Christ at a young age and she taught all of her children to love the Lord unconditionally. Audrey was strong willed and known for being a “survivor.” Her beautiful smile will truly be missed along with her humble spirit.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Arnetta (Rahiem) Barry, Tamara (James) Hale, John Crawford, Jr. and Yvettia Smith, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives.
Audrey was preceded in death by her sisters, Teresa and Yvonne, and father, Arthur Crawford.
