Obituary

Audrey Elaine Dalsasso, 67, of The Villages, FL went to be with the Lord on May 8, 2019.  She was born to Helen and Herman Staples in Littlefork, MN on October 26, 1951.   She graduated from Littlefork Big Falls High School in 1969.  She went on to Bemidji Vocational School graduating in 1970.  Audrey would later obtain an associate degree in Micro Computer Support in 2001 from Century College in White Bear Lake, MN.  She would work at several places in her life including the University of Minnesota, City of Woodbury, Fortis and other various clerical positions.  She married James Dalsasso on May 31, 1997 and in November of 2010 they moved to The Villages.  Audrey loved glass fusion, pottery, golf, quilting, and making pine needle baskets.  She is survived by her loving husband of 22 years, Jim Dalsasso; daughter, Carrie (Kevin) Rogers of Lynden, WA; grandchildren Rowan and Archer Rogers of Lynden, WA; mother, Helen Staples (100 Years old)  of Summerfield, FL; sister,  Penny (Roy) Ranisate of Summerfield, FL; sister-in-law, Donna Dalsasso Russell of St. Paul, MN and many nieces, nephews and special friends.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 12 to 2 pm at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home, 3990 East State Road 44, Suite 105, Wildwood, Fl 34785.  In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her name to Moffitt Cancer Center 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612, give.moffitt.org, Cornerstone Hospice, 2445 Lane Park Road, Tavares, FL 32778, or a charity of your choosing.  Online condolences may be sent to www.baldwincremation.com.     The family would like to thank everyone who provided support during this difficult time.

    Audrey was always cheerful and friendly. She was quite talented with her glass fusion and was always ready to help members of our glass fusion club. My condolences to her family. I will surely miss her beautiful smile.

    My sympathy to the family. Audrey and I met when we were 18. Even though I haven’t see her for many years, I’m missing her terribly. So many memories flooding in from the past. One of the best friends and roommates I’ve ever had. RIP Audrey ❤️
