Obituary
Audrey Anne Hare, 67, of New Smyrna Beach, passed away suddenly December 25, 2020. Audrey was born September 28, 1953 in Monticello, New York to the late Gladys and William Goldstein. She grew up in New York and moved to Florida in the 1980s. Audrey was best known for her positive energy, her appreciation for the little things in life and her time spent walking the beach, taking pictures of sunrises. She never met a stranger and anyone who knew her can attest that she felt her greatest accomplishment was her son, Harrison. Audrey will be remembered for her kind heart, thoughtful ways and her ability to fix everything with a pot of homemade chicken soup. She worked as Para Educator for many years in Volusia County Schools and most recently as a beloved nanny.
She is survived by her cherished son, Harrison (Christy) Hare of Germantown, MD; adored grandson, Henry; sister, Marcia (Wayne) Cheney of Vernon, NY and brother, Harry (Judy) Goldstein of Cincinnati, OH; and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date on Marco Island, FL.
