Obituary

Austin James Hurt, 34, passed away on April 29, 2023 in Oviedo, FL. Austin was born in Lancaster, PA on September 4, 1988 to Carl and Kelly Hurt. He graduated from Space Coast Jr/Sr High School in 2006 and ITT Technical Institute in 2008 with a degree in Computer Aided Drafting and Design and he worked as an Architectural Project Manager for 10 years where he was able to travel the country. He enjoyed bowling, concerts, music festivals, gaming, roller coasters, Taekwondo, hiking, and camping. Austin was kind, caring and funny and a bright light to all who knew him. He will be missed and remembered by the many lives he touched.
He is survived by his mother Kelly Hurt of Ocala, FL, sister Amber Johnston and her husband Jim of Aston, PA, sister Ashley Hurt of Tallahassee, FL, niece Kayla Stiller, and nephews Riley and Conner Johnston, along with aunts, uncles, cousins, and several close friends. He was preceded in death by his father Carl C. Hurt, Jr and brother Andy Hurt.
A celebration of life for friends and family will be announced at a later date.

It was nice knowing you through my son and past neighbor. I loved to watch your adventures you shared on FB. I got to see you many times working at the Titusville JC Penney back in the day.
