My 20 years of friendship began when we met at a Mary Kay convention in Orlando. It went on to when Darlene & Tim rented our condo at Bouchelle while they remodeled 'one' of their homes. In the past 10 years she was our (wonderful) realtor and found us our last 2 homes. We met occasionally for lunch and it was like we had been together forever.

I think she left this message to me on FB this morning:

    When tomorrow starts without me,
And I’m not here to see.
If the sun should rise and find your
eyes, filled with tears for me.

I wish so much you wouldn’t cry,
    the way you did today.
While thinking of the many things
    we didn’t get to say.

I know how much you love me,
as much as I love you.
And each time you think of me,
I know you’ll miss me too.

    When tomorrow starts without me,
    don’t think we’re far apart,
for every time you think of me,
I’m right here in your heart.

Darlene was such a warm, loving friend. I love you Darlene and I miss you terribly! G

Darlene lived a life of great kindness and was well loved by those that had the privilege of knowing her, being blessed to have the opportunity to spend time with her. No doubt that when she closed her eyes on Earth she opened them in Heaven. Thoughts and prayers to all those with broken hearts during this time of such great loss.
