Avia was my mentor and my friend.

She took the time to teach me about quality and regulatory; lessons and knowledge I use to this day.

We stayed in touch over the years. It was always great to hear from her. When we spoke she always asked about my family. She had such a warm heart...I miss her!

Carla and family, I am so sorry for your loss. We are holding you all in our thoughts and in our hearts.

My family expresses our condolences to you and yours.

I just tried to call my good friend and former colleague Avia. When I could not reach her I got concerned and my worst fears were confirmed. Please accept my sincere condolences, especially to Carla and Avia's grandchildren . She was so proud of you all.

Avia was a great lady, kind and caring. She taught me everything I know about drug development. I miss you very much.
