Obituary
Barbara Estes Frissell passed away on November 12, 2022, surrounded and supported by her loving family.
Barbara was born in Lake City, Florida on January 20, 1945. She was a graduate of Therrell High School in Atlanta Georgia, and it gave her great joy to still be in touch and chat with with many of her friends and classmates from Therrell on a regular basis.
Barbara enjoyed being involved with the activities of her daughters and granddaughter, whether it be Shelby’s color guard, Marissa’s baton twirling, or Meghan’s dance. She was always their biggest and most dedicated fan as mom and grandma. Barbara also loved law and crime shows, uplifting Hallmark and Disney movies, and looked forward to solving Wheel of Fortune puzzles nightly on TV.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Shelby Delynn Kinn and Marissa (Dave) Whateley, as well as her beloved granddaughter Meghan Kinn. She also leaves behind her best furry friends, Alex and Bo. She will be sorely missed by everyone who loved her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her father John Estes, mother Allyne Hosford, and dear brother Mike Estes.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at AdventHealth Hospital and Barbara’s own dedicated team of physicians and specialists that assisted her during her time of need.
