On August 5, 2021, Barbara Ann “Bibsie” Kaluhiokalani (nee Hoffman) passed away at Stuart Meyer Hospice in Palm Coast, Florida, succumbing to a three-year battle with cancer. She was 64 years old, born November 6, 1956, to the late Lester W. and Stella M. Hoffman of Delran, New Jersey.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Gary J. Kaluhiokalani of Palm Coast, Florida, sister Diane Dembowski (Richard) of San Antonio, Texas, sister Nancy McBride (Edward “Butch”) of Delran, New Jersey, sister Kathleen Chester (James) of Westhampton, New Jersey, and sister of the late John L. Hoffman of Delran, New Jersey. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Victoria McMahon, Reese McBride, Alexis Chester, John, Brian, and the late David Hoffman, as well as several cousins.

She was employed by Delguard Aluminum Products of Delair, New Jersey for over 20 years, where she was awarded Best Inside Sales Rep in the industry, and in October 2012, began employment with Ideal Deals in St. Augustine, Florida.

Barbara was a very caring person and is loved dearly by family and many friends, each saddened by her passing. Barbara was an avid country music and Nascar fan and enjoyed boating and fishing immensely; her last fishing trip provided for by 4 very dear friends shortly before she passed.

There will be a private Memorial Service at her request. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sloth Conservation Foundation.
