Barb was my Supervisor at Skokie 911 but was also a good friend. She was to my home and I to Her a many times until she moved to Florida then it was phone chats. She will be missed.

I knew Barb when she was in Glenview and she had a special place in my heart at the time. I was a firefighter there at the time but her heart belonged to Kenny Steffens so I stepped aside. Even so, I still care and she will be missed. RIP Barb.

Remember the great times we got together with her and Kenny after work, on the weekends or whenever we thought was an appropriate time. Get togethers at homes, cocktail places, festivals, Diamond Lake, and some many more. These memories are remembered by many and will not soon be forgotten. You will be sorely missed Barb. RIP...

Barb helped me immensely when I first started as an 18 yr old dispatcher in a neighboring town. Being on the same network she could hear if I was having a problem and would call on the phone to coach me through the call. She was a great dispatcher, team player and friend. Good Bless her…
