Barry G. Hughes of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., passed away unexpectedly Friday, May 18 at Florida Hospital in Altamont Springs, Fla., with his family at his side.

Most Saturday nights, Barry could be found singing karaoke at the Legion Post. He recently sang karaoke in New Orleans and also in Las Vegas.
He married the former Kathy Jackson Button on Nov. 23, 2016 in Deland. They enjoyed many adventures together as he “chauffeured.”
