Obituary
Bart J. “Bud” Feiden Jr. died peacefully at Hope Hospice in Lehigh Acres, FL on June 16, 2018 at the age of 80.
Bart is survived by his daughter Kimberly Harris of Oldsmar, FL, son Bart (BJ) Feiden III (Connie) of Land O’Lakes, FL, grandchildren Kalyn and AJ Harris of Oldsmar, FL and Dayton and Hunter Feiden of Land O’Lakes, FL, sister Patricia Angrisano of Troy, NY and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Bart J. Feiden Sr. and Mildred (Taggart) Feiden of Wynantskill, NY, and his wife Carol (Taft) Feiden, Ft. Myers, FL.
Bart was born on June 25, 1937 in Troy, NY to Bart J. Feiden Sr. and Mildred (Taggart) Feiden. He graduated from LaSalle Institute, Troy, NY and went on to Siena College where he graduated with a BS degree in economics. He began as a junior bank examiner for the NY State Banking Department and joined State Bank of Albany in February 1965. He worked in the offices in Albany, NY as well as Rochester, NY and continued to climb the ranks, eventually retiring in 1995 as Senior Vice President of Fleet Investment Advisors (now part of Bank of America). Bart served in the United States Naval Reserve, retiring after 30 years with the rank of commander.
Bart was a former professional bowler and a member of the Troy Bowling Association Hall of Fame and the PBA.
Bart was an accomplished golfer and played regularly over the years at Van Schaick Island Country Club, Cohoes, NY, Penfield Country Club, Penfield, NY, Troy Country Club, Troy, NY and most recently Olde Hickory Golf and Country Club, Fort Myers, FL.
Bart’s other memberships include the Reserve Officers Association of the U.S., Naval Reserve Association, American Institute of Banking, Investment Society of Northeastern NY, and Siena Alumni Association.
