Beatrice “Betty” (Attardi) Borsellino was welcomed into the arms of her Lord on June 11, 2012 in Port Orange Florida. She was born March 25, 1930 in New York City to Alfonse and Josephine (Carasotta) Attardi and was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother Joseph. Betty was married to Joseph Michael Borsellino for 63 years. She was a graduate of Washington Irving High School and the Gregg & Pittman Secretarial School both of New York City. She was employed as an Executive Secretary for over 30 years, most of those with American Cord & Webbing Corporation of New York City. Betty resided in NYC before moving to Greensboro, NC in the mid 70’s and coming to live permanently in New Smyrna Beach in the late 90’s. Betty is survived by her husband Joseph and favorite cousin Randolph Giunta and many nephews and nieces, with special thanks to Betty & Joe’s live in caregiver and friend Eleanor Shoman. Betty was one of those people whom everyone loved upon meeting and she in return loved back. She is much loved and adored by all her special nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. She will always be in our hearts. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Friday, June 15 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church 4000 South Atlantic Avenue New Smyrna Beach FL 32169.

My Aunt Betty was married to my mother's Uncle Joe. My earliest
recollection of her was how much class she had, and how she handled herself in a crowd. She was indeed a jewel, and her smile will be missed.
We are very lucky to have her name on a branch of our family tree.
