Bernard Huet Root, 84, of Zellwood, Florida passed away at Hospice of The Comforter, Altamonte Springs Florida, on October 9, 2014. Bernard was a US Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He was an Electrical Engineer. He was a member of the Red Caps and the Zellwood Zells. He is survived by his loving wife Anne Margaret Root,three daughters, Kathleen Root, Deborah Ferlito and her husband Mark, Carol Sawers, one son Gregory Root and his wife Annette, one sister Jeanne Candee, two granddaughters Breanne Cierkewicz, Pamela Handy, two grandsons Kyle and Austin Root, several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, October 13, 2014 at 9 AM at St. Patrick's Catholic Church 6803 Old Highway 441 South, Mount Dora Florida. Visitation will be Sunday from 4 to 6 PM at the church.
