  23. Ruby says:

I remember Betty’s quiet ‘can do’ spirit. When I first met her she was single handedly putting Don‘s wheelchair into the trunk of the car. Since I had to do that for my mom I offered to help. She smiled and said ‘no thanks its easy, I do it all the time’ and just like that she had it apart and in the trunk of her car. She always asked about how my son Eddie was doing with a ready smile and an encouraging word.
Ive missed seeing her in her spot by Don at church. It all seems just like last week.
Oh for that ‘Great getting up morning’!
