Betty Sue Cartwright, 80, of Edgewater, FL died Tuesday, April 26th at Florida Hospital in New Smyrna, Beach. She was born January 22, 1936 in Mannington, KY the daughter of Goldie and Opal Ethel (nee Mathew) Sisk. She worked as a salesperson for a communications company and came to Florida from Hopkinsville, KY in 2003. She was proud of her accomplishment of completing the Dale Carnegie Course and was a member of the Jehovah’s Witness. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Gordon Cartwright and by a brother, William R. Sisk and his wife Donna. She is survived by three nieces and a nephew: Niece, Lynda Moore and her husband, Jeff of Shelbyville, KY and their children Danielle and Samantha Moore, Niece, Pamela Jo Brunelle and her children, Erica Perkins and Barrett Edwards, Niece, Kim Sisk of Shelbyville, KY and her son John Mark Miller, Nephew, James Allen Wilson and his wife, Louise of Deltona, FL and their children, Philip Morse, Lisa McNinch and Mark Wilson. Visitation will be from 5 PM to 7 PM on Monday, May 2, 2016 at Baldwin Brothers New Smyrna Beach Heritage Place with Funeral Service to follow at 7:00 PM on Tuesday May 3, 2016. Interment will be at 1:00 PM on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at the Edgewater/New Smyrna Cemetery.
