Beverly Ann Blackwell
Beverly Ann Blackwell passed into the arms of Jesus on August 29, 2021 at the age of 71 surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was born and raised in Coconut Grove in Miami, Florida and graduated from Miami High School and subsequently from Florida State University with a degree in Elementary Education. Beverly taught elementary school grades 3rd, 4th and 5th for several years at Tyndall Airforce Base in Panama City and in Orange County, Florida.
The greatest accomplishment of her life was always that of a devoted wife of 49 years to her husband Raymond and loving mother to her two girls, Jennifer and Kristen. Beverly had a true passion and love for life. She was blessed to travel extensively as a young adult and throughout her life, as her father worked as an engineer for Pan Am Airlines. Beverly continually inspired her family with her strong faith in God and commitment to her family and friends. She was an active member of the Aloma United Methodist Church for many years. She loved reading, gardening, cruising in the Caribbean and beach vacations with her family.
She was preceded in death by loving parents, Thelma and Charles Bolvin and sister, Patricia Key. She is survived by her husband Raymond Blackwell, daughter Jennifer Blackwell, daughter and son-in-law Kristen and Ryan Bickford, her precious granddaughter Haylee Bickford, sister Janet Bolvin and two nephews Andy (Ana) Key and Charles (Jessica) Key, along with many dear friends and family who have been a wonderful, steadfast support during her courageous battle with cancer.
She will always be remembered as a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and loyal friend. The family will share a private ceremony in the near future, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Beverly Blackwell’s name to the following:
