Felicia and I became friends Sophomore year of high school. I’ll never forget the first time I went to stay all night at her house, and met her mother. I thought Billie was the most beautiful woman I had ever seen. She had her dark hair up in a French roll, red fingernail polish, she looked just perfect! In my opinion, Felicia had the cool mom! Plus between Billie and Aunt Carol they were always so kind and nice to all of Fe’s friends! Now 50 plus years later—she’ll always be the cool mom to me!

I love you Billie—you will be so missed.
