Obituary
Bobby Lee Newman, of Ocala, FL passed away at Pacifica Senior Living on Saturday, March 11, 2023. He was born in Jonesville, VA in 1937, and retired from the Virginia Highway Department. Bobby was preceded in death by his wife Sally Mae Newman, sister Shirley George, his parents Christopher and Emma Newman, and 1 granddaughter Callie Newman. He is survived by 2 sons; Robert Jr. (Terri) Newman of Va Beach, VA and Edward (Carla) Newman of Roper, NC, his daughter Kimberly (Herb) Blaylock of Ocala, FL, 1 grandson and 6 granddaughters, 4 great grandsons and 1 great granddaughter, and 1 great great grandson. Memorials can be made to the First United Methodist Church in Jonesville, VA. Memorial services are pending. Mr. Newman will be cremated and laid to rest at Newman Cemetery in Jonesville, VA.
