Obituary

Bonnie (Kauffman) Noles, 81, passed away peacefully on December 10th at Blake Hospital in Bradenton, Florida.

Bonnie was born on January 3, 1944, in Dallastown, Pennsylvania, to Paul and Alice Kauffman. She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings Paul Kauffman, Ronald Kauffman, and Rachel (Kauffman) Amick. She grew up in Sarasota, Florida, where she proudly participated in the Sarasota Sailor’s Circus. She later attended Manatee Junior College, where she studied accounting.

After high school, Bonnie met the love of her life, Elmer Noles, who survived her. They married and shared many years together, raising their family in Pennsylvania before returning to Bradenton, Florida, in 1979. Throughout their years together, Bonnie and Elmer owned and operated several businesses, including Elway Optical in York, Pennsylvania, and T-Shirts Plus located in DeSoto and Sarasota Square. Later in her career, Bonnie worked as a bookkeeper for the Johnson Smith Company.

Bonnie is survived by her devoted husband, Elmer Noles; her children, Carlton Noles (Lisa) and Angie (Noles) Marcinko (Dave); her grandchildren Nicole O’Neill (Jimmy), Lauren Jasinski (Ashton), Maddy Marcinko, Ben Noles, Hamilton Noles (Samantha), Jeff Noles, and Gianna Noles; and her cherished great-grandchildren Savannah, Mason, and Sadie O’Neill.

Bonnie was a faithful member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, where she volunteered and sang in the choir. She enjoyed bowling, playing bridge, puzzles, and games, but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, friends, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 10th at Emmanuel United Methodist Church. The family will receive guests beginning at 12:30 p.m., with the service to follow at 1:00 p.m., and a reception afterward.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Emmanuel United Methodist Church. Donations may be made online at https://www.eumcbradenton.org/online-giving, or by mail by sending a check to Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 5115 Cortez Road West, Bradenton, Florida 34210.
