Obituary
Boyd N. Briscoe was called home to the Lord on August 30, 2019. His passing was peaceful with Marilyn, his wife of 31 years by his side. He recently celebrated his 90th birthday with a party of family and friends.
Boyd was born on August 18, 1929 in Janesville, WI. He lived most his life in the Midwest, mostly in the Chicago, Il area. He obtained his BA from Northwestern University and MBA from the University of Chicago. Most of his business career was in the oil and gas Industry, retiring as Executive VP of Finance at an intrastate gas pipeline company. He was a Korean War Veteran serving from 1951-53.
Boyd loved to travel, read, watch baseball and food. He enjoyed going to the Squares to listen to the music and watch people dance. To all those who would stop and thank him for his service, know that he cherished those moments.
Boyd is survived by his wife, Marilyn, his daughter Beth Ann Briscoe and sons Dean Briscoe and Todd Briscoe, three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Inurnment will take place at the Florida National Cemetery. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held in the near future.
