Obituary

Shea – Brenda Lee (Bussiere) passed away on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the age of 74 in Ocala, Florida. She was born on August 10, 1946 in Woburn, MA. Brenda graduated from North Andover High School in North Andover, MA and Daniel Webster College in Nashua, NH. Brenda was a vibrant and active resident of the Villages. She enjoyed crafting, card making, fiction writing, playing pickleball, and playing cards with family & friends. Her family meant everything to her, and she would drop everything at the drop of a hat to help them with anything they needed.

The family would like to thank Lynne and Ricky Trombly for their years of friendship and support during this difficult time.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother Eleanor “Tinker” Bussiere (Donohoe) and her infant sister Karen Nugent. She is survived by her father, Kirk Bussiere, of Hampstead, NH and The Villages, FL; her brother Kevin Bussiere and his wife Stephanie (Sargent), of Virginia Beach, VA; her sister, Jacalyn Vance (Bussiere) of Atkinson, NH; sons William Shea of Destin, FL and Donald Shea, his wife Christiana (Turner) of Virginia Beach, VA; grandchildren Kaitlyn Shea, of Chattanooga, TN, and Alexander Shea of Virginia Beach, VA; many nieces and nephews, and a multitude of cousins.

Memorial arrangements are to be determined. Burial to be in Woburn, MA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Brenda’s name to The McKnight Brain Institute University of Florida.

Thank you, Brenda, for so many things. For always being up for playing a game, being silly, and for always, always being there for the big stuff and the small stuff. You will be greatly missed for all of that and so much more. Hope you're feeling all our love all the way up there in heaven. ❤️

I'm happy we had a nice long phone conversation at the end of March. I'm heartbroken, and I'm going to miss you more than words can say. We met when we were teenagers so I'm grateful I knew you for many decades. You'll always be with me in my heart Brenda, but I will dearly miss seeing you and chatting with you.

Brenda was a wonderful woman and friend. I was so happy she attended our 50 year high school class reunion almost 5 years ago. We bonded over our years as NAHS majorettes. I am shocked to hear of Brenda’s sudden death. My condolences to Brenda’s family.

Brenda will be very much missed! We had some great memories working Mission Planning System, even more memories with Brenda and Lynne joining our church craft group (after retirement), and even more fun with Brenda and Lynne at our "weekly bowling / Wendys" excursion! Brenda was always the first one to help someone who needed it ..... at work, "Ray" was in the market for another car. He went and talked with a salesperson, but didn't finalize the deal. He talked about it to Brenda.... and Brenda thought he could get a better deal .... so she went with him! Ray let Brenda do all the talking .... she got him some "extra stuff", as well as got the price reduced! Ray was thrilled!
The salesperson then turned to Ray and said, "so, you brought your wife this time!" Brenda and Ray laughed about that from time to time. You will be missed!!!

Sorry to hear this about Brenda. My boys were shocked and saddened by the news. We were only neighbors for 3 or so years but grateful for the conversations we were able to share.
