Brenda Lee Ott, from Jacksonville Florida, passed away Wed. Dec. 21, 2022, surrounded by loved ones after a long battle with heart disease.

Brenda was born in Jacksonville, North Carolina. A Navy brat, she spent her school years overseas, including Iceland and Japan, but she called Jacksonville home. Brenda was a fun loving and friendly person. She enjoyed crafting and traveling, especially going on cruises. Her favorite places to visit were Ireland and the Bahamas. She was a practical joker who loved to laugh and to make others laugh. Brenda always put family and friends above all else. She was a loving wife, mother, and friend.

Brenda was preceded in death by her mother and father, Barbara and James.

Brenda is survived by her husband Larry, daughter Catelyn, son Travis, sister Garmid, nephew’s Zachary, Joshua, and Jeramy, sister Lauri, nephew Kyle, and niece Felicia.

The family will be holding a private ceremony with family and friends.
