Brian was born on Sept. 2nd, 1949 in Moosup, CT to parents Austin and Lily Bissonnette.

Brian was a great and loving husband, father and grandfather, he married Lela in 1987 and lived in CT until 2003 when they moved to Jacksonville FL, where they lived until they retired in 2012 and settled down in Ocala.

Brian was a quiet man whose presence impacted the lives of the people close to him in a profound way. He enjoyed golfing, kayaking, photography and most of all spending time with family and friends. His love for working on projects around the house often flowed into helping friends and family with their projects and even helping build sets for the Ocala Civic Theater on occasion.

In lieu of a funeral the family is planning to have a celebration of life at a later date with family and close friends.

My dearest, sweet, Brian, I will miss you and will never forget you.
Your beautiful garden, fondness of music, talented carpentry, golfing skills, stray cat care, and gentleman qualities are just a few things to speak of but mostly your love of your family and closest friends stands out.
I was lucky to have met you and have you in my life. A gift. A treasure.

“Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.”
