Obituary
Bruce Roland Carl, sixty-nine years of age, passed away on March 15, 2021 at Cornerstone Hospice in Tavares, Florida.
Bruce was born on June 7, 1951 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Ida Mae Joann Carl (Cox) and Fred Harding Carl. He moved to Florida in 1966 and spent much of his career at Boeing and Lockheed Martin.
Bruce was an avid NASCAR fan, and delighted in visiting the Daytona speedway. He was also a passionate music aficionado, with a vast library and particular love of classic rock. Bruce loved the mountains and any form of water. He took many trips up and down Skyline Drive through the Blue Ridge Mountains. His final resting place will be in the Grand Teton Mountains of Wyoming, which he described as the most beautiful site in America.
Bruce is survived, and lovingly remembered by, his children Jeremy Paige Carl (Linda) and Shaina Elizabeth Carney (Eric), siblings Michael Carl, Darryl Carl, Kimberly Allman (Steven), Freda Lagrone (Robert), and Rodney Byrd (Audrey). He is also survived by granddaughters Isabella Grace Carney and Micah Rose Carney, and nieces Kailey, Kristin and Nicole.
The family would like to extend their sincerest gratitude and appreciation for the nurses and Dr. Ajit Hansalia at AdventHealth Waterman in Tavares, Florida. Their kindness will never be forgotten.
