Obituary

Bruce William Phillips, 71, of Dunnellon, FL, passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021.  Bruce was born in Cambridge, MA to Wendell and Dorothy Phillips.  He was a mechanic and worked at Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority.  He was also a USAF veteran and member of VFW and  Friendship Baptist Church in Ocala.  Bruce enjoyed watching the Patriots and the Red Sox.

Survivors include his wife of 10 years, Cheryl Phillips, 4 children; Lynn Scott of E. Bridgewater, MA, Kerri Phillips of Raynham, MA, Derek Phillips of Raynmam, MA, Kevin Phillips of MA, 2 step children; Karen (Charles) Dawicki of Valdosta, GA, and Denise Pooler of Valdosta, GA, siblings: Diane McAvoy of Westwood, MA, Wendell (Linda) Phillips, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, and Craig R. (Karen) Phillips of Uxbridge, MA and many grandchildren nieces and nephews.

He was loved and will be missed by all.

    So sorry Cheryl to hear ….. always enjoyed seeing you both at the Amvets…..I know how good he was to my brother Paul. Please accept mine and Joe’s sympathy it is heart felt.

    So many memories of growing up together. I'll miss our phone calls before Patriots and Red Sox games in the last several months. Love you always Will. Rest in peace with Mom, Dad and Wayne.
