Julia and I grieve at because of Bruce's passing . We, and the rest of his family , are proud of his accomplishments in life and of the person he became . He was a true gentleman and a great man . He grew up dirt poor with me, and his other 2 brothers, and pulled himself up by his "bootstraps". " Have you not seen and have you not heard that a great man has fallen in Israel ". Bruce spoke often of his involvement in the Episcopal Church and it's importance to him . His passing has left a hole in our souls that will take a long time to heal .

Bruce "Snugs", was a great guy and friend. We enjoyed talking about SEC football and when his Alabama Tide would finally give up the ghost to my Florida Gators....probably "NOT" he would say. Bruce was also fine fisherman who studied the waters around the area and could put you on the fish when most went home skunked. He also played a fine game of golf even though he played from the "wrong side".
Rest in Peace Bruce, we'll miss ya.

To the family of Bruce McCrory. I had the pleasure of working directly for Bruce in both Volusia and Marion Counties.
