There was something special about Rev Bruce. I too, grew up with him. He was a "BMOC" yet he always had time for the little guy! When you talked to him, you had his full attention. And he never talked about himself, though he was very popular and admired.

I'm sure there is a long receiving line in heaven for he witnessed to the truth of the gospel to any who would listen. I take heart that many of us will some day join him, praising God in our eternal home!

I knew Bruce from the time we were about 3 years old in nursery school at the First Presbyterian Church in Coffeyville. We went all through school together & maintained our friendship until we graduated. Then we went separate ways and I lost track of him somehow. He was a really nice person and a good friend. The world is a better place for having Bruce in it. My condolences to the whole family. I am sure he will be missed by many.
