I didn’t now my Great Uncle Bruno that well. Still I remember every time he came over to visit us in Berlin. The last time I saw him was a few years ago, after the passing of my Grandma, his sister. I remember his wit, his humour, absolutly owning the room with his stories. He left an incredible impression on me.
I would like to express my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy.
This day was so funny. The Duke gardens! The hottest and sweatiest day of my life. What a fun memory, with the whole family together! I will look back on our lives with you, Opa, and smile. There are so many happy, fun, and adventurous memories! This trip to North Carolina was one of the best. Thank you for everything Opa, and I will remember you forever.
Opa, you and Oma were an example of lifelong love and support. I will miss this so much. This picture was taken at Christmas at Uncle Mike’s house. Every Christmas (and everyday in between) your love will be remembered.
My dad says that when I was born, you ran up and down the hospital with me in your arms showing me to everyone. I am so happy you got to come to my graduation. Yours and Oma’s stories are inspiring ones. Thank you for creating a family legacy which allowed us all to proper and thrive.
Opa we love you so much. I look back at this picture and smile, remembering all of our memories together. Your granddaughters will miss your never ending energy and you brightening up our birthdays by playing the harmonica. Because of you, Jenna the little one always had an interest in rocks, just like her Opa. I remember you walking up and down the beach looking for pretty rocks, and looking out for sharks. Thank you for watching our for us always.
My beloved Opa, you always were out captain, pilot, and leader. Thanks for always letting me be your copilot!
Love you Opa, you will be greatly missed. I will think of you often, but always when beach combing, when I find the perfect rock, when I hear the harmonica, or when I am at Red Rocks. I will always be your Little One.
Bruno and first granddaughter, Caitlin
