Obituary

Bry passed away suddenly on Thursday, December 16, 2021 in the Villages, Florida. He was born at York Hospital to parents Muriel and Roger Currier. He was raised in Cape Neddick, Maine and attended York schools.
After high school, Bry served in the U.S. Army in Vietnam and earned a Bronze Star. When returning to civilian life, he was employed by McPherson Foundations in Eliot Maine and later worked for Leighton Chevrolet in York Maine as the Parts Manager. Bry retired from the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard in 1999 where he had worked as a nuclear refueling manager. After retiring, he started a lawn care business.
Bry was very loved by his family and his many friends, and he will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Christine (Lucas), mother Muriel, stepmother Barbara, and brother Richard and his wife Cathy, sister Robin and her husband Bill, nephew Nathan, nieces Cristal and Courtney, as well as his Lucas family in-laws and many Lucas nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his father Roger Currier, stepfather Richard Smith, stepbrothers Clark and Allan, and stepsister Nancy.
Bry touched many people during his life. He had an infectious personality, great smile, and was known for his generosity and support of others near and dear to his heart. There wasn’t anything Bry would not do for those he cared about. He loved hunting and playing golf with his brother, brothers-in-law, nephew and many other lifelong friends. Family and friends were very important to him and played a big part in his life. Bry will truly be missed by all.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to a veteran’s organization of your choice.
