Obituary
Carl Anderson, 91, of The Villages passed away May 12, 2019. He was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 9, 1927. After graduation, he proudly served in the Marine Corp and eventually settled in Miami, Florida. Where with first wife, Irene raised four children while working for thirty years with the U.S. Postal Service. Upon retirement, he moved to Stuart, Florida with second wife, Terry, staying busy in the real estate business, they moved to The Villages in 2004. Carl was an avid cyclist competing in numerous senior Olympics and M.S. charity cycling events. He loved to workout in his neighborhood pool along with belonging to American Legion Post 347, bridge, samba & singles clubs, also ushering at Hope Lutheran Church. Carl is survived by sister Marilyn Hess, Brother Ron (Linda), sons Robert (Donna), Peter, daughters Maria, Eva (Mike), grandsons Matthew, Steven and Christian, granddaughter Isabell and great granddaughters Lynn and Liv and beloved companion Carolyn Kiena. A celebration of Life for Carl will be held on Saturday June 22, 2019 at Hope Lutheran Church at 10:00 am, 250 Avenida Los Angelos, The Villages, FL 32162. He will be missed by many. My husband Al preceded him in death on Jan. 31, 2019. I hope they have found each other. Both wonderful men.
