Obituary
Carl O. Dickey, Jr, age 84, of Orlando passed away on January 21, 2016 after a brief illness. He was born in Toledo, Ohio to Helen McCaslin Dickey and Carl O. Dickey, Sr. He is preceded by his wife, Jacqueline McClellan Dickey, and his parents. He graduated from Duke University where he was a member of SAE fraternity and the baseball team. He served in the Air Force and received his M.Ed. from Rollins College. He was a teacher and school counselor at Jackson Heights Middle School in Oviedo for most of his career. He was an avid sports enthusiast and could usualy be found playing tennis on the Ft. Gatlin courts. He always looked forward to his monthly poker games with his friends. He is survived by his three children Kevin Dickey (Abdiel Pena), Elizabeth and (Steve) and Allison Dickey; His grandchildren Mathew and (Alex and great grandson, Miles), Megan and Meredith Martinez and his beloved dog Peekaboo. He will always be remembered for his warm smile, sense of humor and quick wit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be sent to, www.aspca.org.

I remember your Dad as I was growing up as nice, friendly person. In recent years, I would see him a lot riding around the neighborhood on his golf cart with his little dog along for the ride. He always had a smile & a wave!
