We were the lucky ones, lucky that YOU were Caitlyn's Popop
Popop, my hero! Nothing compares, nothing compares to you!
How lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard! I love you Popop!
P.S. Buddy if you are peeking down here and reading these, check out Buddy Bond's. I loved it!
Being the Pop-Pop of your family was what made you the happiest. Those sweet granddaughters were your pride and joy and you were their hero. Now from Heaven, you're not only their Pop-Pop, their Hero but their Guardian Angel who will watch over them every moment of their lives. In the hearts of those who love you...you will live forever!
In our family, you were the youngest of the remaining first cousins....in all reality you should have been the last to leave this earth. But, in all reality the Lord must have needed an expert to help watch over the Ocean and 'You' were is first choice!
I'm sure you had a welcoming committee like no other as our loved ones lined up to give you hugs and kisses and to welcome you Home!
Take care Bud til we meet again
At the beach
I thought we'd have more years to recall our good old days. What a time we had on the A1A jobsites when we were young and strong and running against the wind ! Remember the Dry Tortugas trip and seeing the lights of Cuba after dark from the boat. The best meal EVER was the lobster we caught and you fixed on board ! Forty-two years knowing you was not nearly long enough. See you on the water... hear you in the wind -
Friends forever,
Your old student, old friend,
