Obituary
Carl R. Biletta passed away on his 87th birthday April 25,2020 at Hope Hospice in Cape Coral, Fl. He was born in New York City, then moved to Richland NJ. He attended Richland and Sacred Heart elementary schools and Vineland High. He received a Bachelor of Science degree at Rutgers University. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea from 1953 to 1955.
He worked in the financial service industry for 44 years. He had many hobbies skiing, golf, photography, flying his own plane, stamp collecting, traveling and making his wine “Maker of the Nectar of the Gods”, His civic activities include Vineland Jaycee’s, N.J. Jaycee’s and U.S. Jaycee’s. He was on the board of American Lung Assoc. of Southern NJ, and Friends of Historic Vineland, Commander of the Korean War Veterans, member of American Legion and a United Veterans Council Delegate.
In 1988 he married Clara (Tedesco) Everett from Roseto, PA. Surviving with his wife of 32 years are daughter Rona Hopper (Bill), grandchildren David Bavuso (Katie) and Dana Uler (Joe) and great grandchildren Cole, Layla and Chase Bavuso. Proceeding him in death was daughter Tara Everett. In lieu of flowers contributions to Veterans Memorial Home, 524 NW Blvd, Vineland, NJ, 08360 or Faith Presbyterian Church, 4544 Coronado Pkwy.
