CARLENE LEE SNIDER
November 20, 1931 – April 1, 2022
Devoted wife, mother and grandmother, Carlene Lee Snider, 90 passed away on Friday, April 1, 2022 at her home surrounded by family and hospice care.
Carlene was born November 20, 1931 in Worland, Wyoming, where she grew up on a sugar beet farm. In 1953, she met and married Bob Snider, her husband of 63 years, who preceded her in death in November 2016. Bob Snider owned and operated Snider’s Truck & Auto Sales in Titusville, FL for over 20 years. Carlene was a legal secretary when she married Bob, a mother and housewife while her children were growing up and an administrative assistant for social services later in life. She was a volunteer at Jess Parish Hospital for many years. She and Bob were long-time members of Indian River City UMC in Titusville, where Carlene sang in the choir.
Carlene is survived by her son, Doug Snider, two daughters: Jacquelyn (Sam) Tapley and Shelley Snider, four grandchildren: Douglas, Leah, Shawn and Crystal; three great grandchildren: Aiden, Everly and Onyx and niece, Diane (Ted) Schlegel. There will be a private family celebration of Carlene’s life at a date to be determined.
