To my dear dear Uncle Charlie, I can't believe you are gone. You have been in my life my whole 65 years. When I was born you told my dad, Joseph Nichols, that he should name me Dawn. And here I am. You were there for my birthday's, holidays, wedding, seeing my babies, etc. I didn't see you much these past few years but I always got a birthday card from you. I will miss you terribly and will always be your little girl.
    I love you,
    Dawn Nichols Eggleston

We met Charlie at the Elks. He was a "one of a kind" person that we grew to know and love. Charlie always had a smile on his face that would light up a room. He was always there for his friends and will miss him greatly.
