Carol A. Carruthers, 81 of Longwood, Florida passed away at Orlando Regional Medical Center Aug 22, 2015. She was a structural engineer by trade. Working on the Goodyear blimp was one of her many accomplishments. She retired from Dill Engineering in Tampa, Florida. Carol enjoyed needle working cross stitching, and walking. She was a member of st. Stephen's Lutheran Church in Longwood, Florida. She is survived by three sons; Richard Carruthers, David Carruthers, and Steven Carruthers, and two daughters Diane Cummings and Helen Balcolm, seventeen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one sister Mary Lou Ellis. she was preceded in death by her husband William Carruthers and a sister Laura Jean LaMarch.
