Obituary

To everything is a season,

a time for every purpose

Under heaven…a time to heal.

Ecclesiastes 3:1, 3 NKJV

Carol Ann Stackhouse, born on April 17, 1967, joined in union with our Heavenly Father on June 3, 2020 in Lehigh Acres, FL., at the age of 53. Carol, a native of Lima, Ohio, spent much of her life there surrounded by friends and family.

Carol, a lover of people, was not only the life of the party, but always wanted to be there for the loved ones in her life. Carol spent much of her career in the restaurant and hospitality industry. Carol believed in living life to the fullest, creating laughter, and always had a smile. She was loved and cherished by so many and she touched so many.

Later in life, Carol would bring to fruition her lifelong dream of moving close to her sacred space, the ocean, in 2012, where she made Lehigh Acres, Florida, her final home with the love of her life, Carl Williams and her loving children.

Carol is survived in death by her best friend and loving son, Nicholas Campbell (Malary Curran), and loving daughter Anaiya Ellis. Carol is known best of all as Nana, where she leaves behind her beautiful little love bugs Jacoby, Kailani, and Ariah where she will continue to look over them as their guardian angel while she is in heaven.

Carol is also survived in death by her parents, Michael and Betty Stackhouse along with her siblings: Marla Stackhouse-Pitts (Mark Stiggers), Michael Stackhouse II (Jamila Stackhouse), Shawn Stackhouse, Nichole Todd, and Marva Stackhouse. She also leaves behind a wealth of nieces and nephews, which she loved dearly: Gregory Pitts II, Douglas Pitts, Christian Pitts, Justin Pinn, Jamil Pitts, Michael Stackhouse III, Justin Todd II, Markeita Stiggers, Shakar Stackhouse, Shakira Stackhouse, Jailynn Todd, Michael Bean III, Christian-Davion Stackhouse, Messiah Stackhouse, Amilliana West, Caleb Stackhouse, and Erin Stackhouse. She was also preceded in death by a niece and a nephew, Makayla and Makyla Stiggers, which she will be protecting and loving in heaven just as she did for all of her family on Earth.

In lieu of flowers, please support Carol’s final and unfulfilled wish of taking Nana’s love Bugs to Disney World via this GoFundMe: https://gf.me/u/x7mx6u

On that day at Disney World, we know Carol will be there with her family smiling and laughing because her son, daughter, and love bugs (grandchildren) were her entire world.
