Obituary
Carol Ann Renfroe went to join her parents, Mildred and Hugo Andrew Renfroe and sister, Barbara, and son Scott Renfroe 10/20/2021. Carol was born and raised in Flatbush and Queens New York, moved to Seaford, Long Island where she lived until, after completing a bachelor’s and master’s degree at Adelphi University, NY graduating Magna Cum Laude and being licensed as a Clinical Social Worker, she moved to Ocala, Florida where she worked for the Lake County Mental Health Center in various capacities until leaving for private practice in Ormond Beach, Daytona Beach and Port Orange, Florida. She met and married Jim Branch, Ph.D., and lived in Port Orange and New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Carol struggled and fought with breast cancer for 20 years before succumbing to it recently. She is survived by her husband, her sons Ronald (and Diane) and Richard (and Angela) and daughters Michelle (and Bob) and Bree. She leaves behind grandsons and granddaughters who will miss her tremendously. She has been an inspiration to the family, friends and colleagues throughout her life and career. She will be missed greatly by many.
