Carol had a full and eventful life that included returning to college in her 60’s to earn a Bachelor’s degree, owning a real estate agency in Bayville, NY, a brief stint in banking and serving as the case intake manager for a U.S. Congressman for nearly 15 years until her retirement last year.
She was deeply religious and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, attending the theater, movies and concerts; reading and dining out. Carol will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 15, 2 pm at Calvary Church, 110 McMullen Booth Road, Clearwater, Florida 33759 followed by a reception where light refreshments will be served.

My sister-in-law Carol was easy to talk to. She continued where her mom Helen left off and always made a point of knowing what I was doing and what I thought. That was important to me as my mom had already passed (Carol was her age). Even though we disagreed on religion and politics, we remained friends. I will miss the dinners she made for Tom and I when we visited, and trying to keep up with her hundreds of recorded movies and shows. I hope she is at peace.

Sister Carol was like a second mother to we youngest 4 Duffys. I'll always remember her friendship, character and hard support of her sports teams. I spent many summers at her home in NY through the 70's-80's and we had a lot of good times together celebrating our February birthdays together. I'm sure you'll be rooting for our Bulldogs this year too! Goodbye to a great sister and human being.
