Obituary

Mr. Carol Irvin Noe

Carol was the son of Sheriff/SLED agent Grover Noe and wife Narvelene of York SC.  He is survived by his wife of nearly 50 years, Judy Howie Noe from Charlotte NC and stepson K. Scott Pope; daughter Linda Noe Robinson and husband Mark, and Emily and Jake Frye; sister Judy Noe Banks and husband Jackie. Carol and Judy have 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

The couple then moved to Florida in 2002 after selling their video production business in Charlotte. Carol was an avid fisherman, and master craftsman woodworker.  Along with wife Judy, they enjoyed many years of dinner dances, costume parties, and had hundreds of friends in Boating and Social Clubs.

Carol suffered several years with Heart disease, Parkinson’s and Lewy Body Dementia, lovingly being cared for at home. He had a stroke and was in Hope Hospice when he passed away.  Carol served in the Navy, putting warheads on guided missiles. Ironically, there was a Military Valor ceremony conducted in his honor on the day he died. He had not been active for several days but opened his eyes and was aware of the ceremony, then took his final breath minutes later.  A beautiful ending to a life well lived.

There will be a Celebration of Life from 6:30 p.m. to 9:0 p.m. at the Lake Kennedy Center, Cape Coral, Florida

Met Carol about 6 years ago when I lived in Cape Coral. He let me do some work in his work shop. He was such a delightful man. Prayers go out to Judy and family that God comfort you in your loss.
