Obituary

Carol Ann Kocmoud was born Sept 24, 1950 in Wauchula, Florida. She worked at various jobs in her life as line cook, receptionist in the insurance industry, manager of a fast-food restaurant, machine shop employee, customer service rep, and.most recently assisting her husband Jim with his electronics repair business. She enjoyed needle work, gardening, home-making, and taking care of her family. Diagnosed with cancer in late 2010, and wonderfully cared for by Hospice, she passed peacefully on July 27 in her native Florida with her husband by her side. To cherish her memory she leaves in Edgewater, Florida her husband of 35 years Jim;  children Lisa Alexander, William Kocmoud, and Phillip Kocmoud, all in suburban Chicagoland; brother, Mike Lookhoff in Venice Florida and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by siblings Linda Conner, Mark Allen Lookoff, Jeffery James Lookhoff, and Warren Lookhoff. Donations requested to be made to Hospice of Volusia Southeast Care Center 4140 South Ridgewood Avenue Edgewater FL 32141. Life Celebration will be 1 PM Saturday, August 20 at Edgewater Rotary Clubhouse 2347 South Ridgewood Avenue Edgewater.

    Dear Family, I would like to express my sincere condolences at the loss of your dear loved one. Please be assured that your tears are not unnoticed by the Creator of Life. Although your deep pain will not easily disappear, praying to God will bring comfort to you as you grieve. The Bible tells us that God is "healing the broken-hearted ones and is binding up their painful spot (Psalm 147:3). May the "Father of tender mercies" and the "God of all comfort" strengthen your faith and give you courage to face the days ahead (2 Corinthians 1:3). My sincere condolences to the family.
