Carol VanDyke 74, of South Daytona, formerly of New Smyrna Beach died Tuesday, July 21, 2009 at the Hospice Care Center-Port Orange.  Carol was born September 22, 1934 in Jamestown, NY.  She and her husband, Maurice were residence’s of New Smyrna Beach for 45 years before moving to South Daytona.  Carol was of the Presbyterian faith and enjoyed bowling, gardening and arts & crafts.  She and her husband were member of the Eagles, Moose and Elks lodge.  Carol is survived by her loving husband, Maurice and good friend, Cathy Battison.  Family services will be held at a later date
