Carole A. Bahn, 76, of Daytona Beach Shores died peacefully on the morning of January 20, 2011 with her husband and sister-in-law, LeeAnn by her side. Carole was born October 17, 1934 in Spartanburg, SC. She graduated from Deland High School, Class of 1954 and married the love of her life, William H. Bahn, Jr. on June 27, 1954. They had a fairytale love affair until her last breath.
Carole was a devoted, loving wife and mother who supported her family in their endeavors to the ends of the earth. She was an interior designer with an “Eye for Change”. Carole owned Carole’s Property Management and Interior Design. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, fishing, dancing, traveling and being with family & friends. Carole had traveled all over the world and all of the US states except Alaska. She was a devout Christian who always trusted in the Lord and loved Jesus with all her heart.
Carole is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Bill; son Eric Bahn and his wife, Janet Jones of Rockwall, TX; daughter, Greta Carole Bahn of Jacksonville Beach, FL and siblings, Rodney and his wife, LeeAnn Smith, Audrey and her husband, Jimmy Whiddon and Brenda and her husband, John Noesen. Carole would like to sincerely thank all of her Christian friends and a “Special Thank You” to my sister-in-law, LeeAnn Smith for all her diligence and love for caring for me during my long illness. She is definitely a blessing from God! Thank you to the many that touched my life as I hope that I had touched yours!
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to SmileTrain, www.smiletrain.org or call 800-932-9541.
