She was a special friend to me. Although I only knew her for 2 years, she joined the therapy dog group the same time as I did, and we went on many visits together. We had an immediate connection to each other and so did our dogs!
She was a gentle and caring person, who went out of her way to do for others, including offering gifts of her lovely stitch work in the form of festive holiday bandanas & collars for our dogs. She also was a first-rate photographer and took many pictures of our therapy dog visits.
I will miss her more than I can say, and it will not be the same to do our visits without her, particularly to the Sonata Assisted Living facility in Viera, where she was the coordinator for our visits, and where she and Princess, as well as Harley (my Papillon) and I, and our other regular members, George & Marvel, with their sweet Papillons, Indy and Skippy, came regularly to bring smiles & joy to the residents.
We will continue our visits in Carole's memory, but it won't be the same. We will miss her mightily!!
Too soon gone, and too much missed.
