Carolyn Aymond

January 23, 1941 – March 3, 2022

Carolyn was born January 23, 1941 to Frank Reed and Helen Reed in Johnson City, NY. She left New York for Southern California with her family at a young age, where she received her education at local schools and graduated from Cal State Los Angeles.

She married Rodney Aymond who preceded her in death, with whom she had two surviving daughters Barbara Carlson (Steve) and Diane DeFrank.  She is survived by her second husband John Richards.  She is also survived by her brother Robert (Maureen) Reed , while her brother William Reed preceded her in death. Loving grandchildren include Nicole (Dave) Peek, Ryan Currie, Tiffany DeFrank, Jack DeFrank and Lauren DeFrank.

Carolyn was very actively involved in the Catholic Church over her adult life, serving in many different service roles. She taught numerous religious classes.  She was also an avid golfer, tennis player, bridge player and quilter.  Memorial Mass will be Thursday, March 10, 2022 10:00 AM at St. Mark The Evangelist Catholic Church, Summerfield, FL.  Arrangements entrusted with BALDWIN BROTHERS Funeral & Cremation Society-Spanish Springs, 352-480-5959.  Sentiments may be left online at www.baldwincremation.com.

    I was so sorry to read this news. We have such fond memories of the Aymond family and many fun times together. I had been thinking a lot about Carolyn as we had lost touch. May she Rest In Peace. Our condolences.
