Sister Joann, Roland and extended family. I have been friends with Sister Joann since 1965 while we were in Religious Life together. I got to know Carolyn and eventually Roland and the children from a visit to the Cape in the mid 1980's. Yes, Carolyn lit up the room with her wonderful smile/personality!

I was very sadden to hear of Carolyn's sudden passing. I pray that Jesus will wrap His strong arms around each and everyone of you and give you the strength to get through the next few days, weeks and months ahead! It might take one second, one minute or one hour at a time; but, Jesus will help you get through these difficult times!
Carolyn is now your angel looking down on you alone with Linus and Miriam!
    Love & Prayers,
    Mary Therese Jensen Minor

I will remember with great fondness of how I immediately gravitated to Carolyn when we first met as hockey mom's. She could make me laugh so hard we would be gasping for air or crying. Through the years we shared many fun times...all the sports events, the auction in Johnston, Yard sales, house hunting. Carolyn was an absolute blast to be with. And she loved her family so much. I am so sad for all of you. The last time I saw Roland and Carolyn was at my father's wake. I was so happy to see them that we jumped around in a circle. It was what I needed and what I expected from her...to make me laugh. Even though our life's paths took us in different directions, I will always consider Carolyn such a dear beloved friend. My condolences to Roland, Jamie and Matthew as well as your families.
